Organic Matter Recycling

The recycling of organic matter to convert waste organic plant material, which comes a product called compost, which also serve for the recovery and improvement of the soil, help to reduce the huge amounts of waste. Composting is the controlled decomposition of organic materials such as fruits, vegetables, pruning, grass, leaves, etc. through a biological process where microorganisms interact, oxygen and environmental factors such as humidity and temperature. This process leaves a product called compost, a dark brown that looks like the land that abounds in the forest soil. • Composting is a great way to recycle organic waste from home. This reduces the amount of waste to be deposited in landfills daily. • With composting avoids buying land that is taken from the forests and thus cause serious damage to the environment to produce soil erosion. • To get a compost soil improver for the garden, ideal for clay or sandy land.
Furthermore, the compost has many beneficial effects on the ground: • Physical activity. Gives consistency to the land light and too loose to compact. Increases water retention. • Chemical activity. Facilitates chemical fertilizers and minerals makes it dissolve better. • Biological activity. Increases organic matter content soil. Increases plant resistance to disease.

We can assist in this process by breaking into our homes that produce organic matter in the garbage and depositing them in containers that we have spread our neighborhoods.

Organic waste and Wormling A good idea to convert the "waste" that occur at home in ideal soil for your plants to live happy.
One of the great problems facing humanity, especially in large cities, is garbage. Yes, people produce so much garbage no longer know where to put it. In Buenos Aires, for example, estimates that each person throws away more than 300 kilos of waste per year ... imagine how big the mountain of garbage will be adding the "production" of all people living in this city.
Humans throw different types of waste: paper, plastic, glass, metals, and also many food scraps, fruit peels, parts of the vegetables that we eat, etc.. In all this latter group is called "organic waste" (all things that at one point had life). A trash can transform this land to pay back in our garden and our plants.
How is this done? It's easy ... we get a big box preferably wood (but can also be a large plastic or metal). There needs to be placed in the bottom layer with a little damp moss or soil and leaves or twigs that have fallen from the plants.
Then you need to find some earthworms from the garden or pots and place them inside. Finally, for a few days, instead of throwing scraps in the waste bin, you have to put in the box of worms. Earthworms and microorganisms will decompose all these remains to be spoiled, and gradually transforming the land shall again.
This land is called "compost" and is a very noble land that serves as fertilizer for plants. Many people buy bags of compost in the nursery when it could make herself.
One last tip: do not make compost in your home. You have to do in a yard and avoid throwing the container pieces meat or bones, the worms are not responsible for them.
